Finding The Right Polynesian Tattoo Designs

29 Mar

Polynesian tattoos are a really unique way to express yourself. The wide variety of designs available enables you to choose a tattoo that suits your individuality and personal style.

The trademark of the Polynesian style tattoo is the figurative design or bold black abstract designs. Within the Polynesian style of tattoo, you can pinpoint a more specific style- including, but not limited to; Samoan, Hawaiian, Marquesan, or Tahitian. Each of these styles offers you the chance to make your tattoo a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork.

Do you want a temporary tattoo or a permanent tattoo? Would you like a Polynesian tribal design, or a Samoan tribal tattoo? Where will you be placing your tattoo? Lower back tattoo designs differ greatly from Polynesian sleeve designs. It is important to know the location of your future tattoo, and to have some ideas in mind before you start looking around.

Most tattoo parlors offer what is known as a flash tattoo. This is often a mass-produced tattoo; a design that the tattoo parlor uses to cut cost relating to artwork and labor. This is a great choice if you want to save money and are looking for a popular tattoo design, such as: crosses, trees, dragons, or even just a feminine tattoo design.

If you are looking for something a little more specific, you may want to consult an online Polynesian tattoo gallery. These galleries offer you the chance to browse thousands of Polynesian Tattoo Designs, helping you find the most unique and original tattoo available. It is most important that you find a website who can offer you the most current and one-of-a-kind Polynesian tattoos.

My Own Story

I know what you’re going through. I suffered the same kind of torment in deciding on a tattoo. First, I had to convince myself that I even wanted a permanent tattoo. Once I had convinced myself, I knew it had to be a design that I would love for years to come. After all, it was going to be permanent!

I was always drawn to tribal tattoo design. I just think it’s so much more original -and meaningful- than most designs out there.

So, I knew what sort of design I wanted and that I wanted it to be permanent. Now, I had to consider the next question: location, location, location. I wanted something that would be unique, and really make me stand out in a crowd. However, even the most feminine designs wouldn’t be so feminine-looking if they were in full view, with my wedding dress on! I’m not even engaged; but I hope to be someday.

Ultimately, I decided on my lower back. I know, it’s not that original. It can be well-hidden, though; and that’s what I really wanted. And besides, guys find the lower back tattoos very sexy. Maybe I’d find my future husband!

So, now that I had picked a not-so-unique location, I knew that my tattoo itself had to be a one-of-a-kind. Like I said, I was always drawn to tribal tattoos, and I wound up researching Polynesian tattoos online.

I had a lot of difficulty finding an original tattoo at first. There were tons of generic “Polynesian” tattoos- koi fish tattoos, dragon designs, different words in Polynesian format. They were anything but original. If the design was o.k., then the color choices were not.

That was when I stumbled upon the website, chopper-tattoo.com. They had so many Polynesian designs and their colors were amazing. I mean, I was on the website for hours. Each design that I found was better than the previous one. They had so many more tattoo designs available, compared to the tattoo parlors and other websites that I had visited.

Their database is chock-full of award-winning tattoo designs, and they allow you to search for tattoos based on design preference, size and color. They had so many different varieties of each design. Imagine hundreds of fish designs to choose from. It’s like a tattoo super-store.

The convenience of chopper-tattoo is far superior to any other website or parlor. All I did was register on the website, choose my design and then print it out and bring it to my local tattoo parlor. I ended up choosing a Maori tattoo; a delicate, spiral patterned tattoo.

The tattooing process itself was a bit weird to me. It wasn’t that it hurt so much, but it was just a long process and the tapping of the needle became a bit annoying after a while.

That being said, I love my tattoo to this day. I have never run into someone who has the same tattoo as me. People always comment on my tattoo, and I love telling the history and the origin of the Maori tattoo. It’s so romantic.

A tattoo is a great conversation piece and is a great way to express yourself, especially if you choose an original design.

Chopper-Tattoo.com offers you the chance to find the tattoo that will catapult you from being average, into the spotlight!

Hawaiian Tattoo Designs – Ageless and Timeless

22 Mar

There are so many to choose from, and that is the most difficult part of the process if you have decided that Hawaiian tattoo designs are the right décor for your body. Some of these are of the loveliest selections of any genre of artistic body adornment. As with all tattoos, they are a permanent fixture, and should be selected with care. What may seem right today may not be the tattoo you want twenty years from now, and although there are procedures for removal of permanent tattoos, they are costly and not especially comfortable.

Should these considerations stop you from getting one of these provocative Hawaiian tattoo designs? If you have decided that you do want a permanent picture on your body, the Hawaiian selections are some of the most beautiful designs available, so they should be a vital consideration when choosing a tattoo. Because Hawaiians usually get designs made that are timeless because they are a memory of someone they loved or a personal type of identifier, the choice can be one that will be ageless and one you will want to show off as much in the future as you do the day you get it.

Some tattoo ideas of this type are tribal Polynesian designs, and learning about their symbolism can be helpful in determining how you might want to remember someone you have loved or how it might serve as a personal identifier that will not only represent who you are today, but the very essence of your spirit that will remain a part of your identity forever.

As an example, the Maori tattoo design has no specific meaning attached, but is just an aesthetically pleasing graphic. With this kind of design, a heart or other remembrance of a loved one can be interwoven in the pattern without specific definition of a reference that will date it in years to come, although you know its significance. Likewise, with this kind of beautiful non-descript graphic form of Hawaiian art, the artisan can craft the design with an element of your own personality that can identify you tomorrow as much as today.
